I called to the number of the agency, asked if was possible to pick up the car 3 hrs earlier. This was confirmed with positive attitude. At the desk I have been asked to upgrade (spending 95 euro more than planned) or waiting 3 hrs to get the car I had booked. This is an abuse

We hired a nearly new fiat 500 from the Nice office to visit the Verdon gorge for the day, the car was ideal for small french country roads. François helped us through the booking process and explained everything thoroughly for us, including the insurance options and even gave us travel tips on which towns to visit along the way, Moustiers Sainte Marie was absolutely beautiful and we thank you and your team for the help François!

Excellent service, no weird or hidden charges. It was all the same as when I booked on my app. Matthew and Francois were very helpful and Matthew even helped us to our car with our heavy luggage.

Very bad experience. We booked for an DS7 or equivalent auto car and we had evidence of booking that stated so. Staff insisted that we booked a manual car and told us no auto car was available except for an upgrade or we be stuck with a manual car. We paid for over 300 euros for that upgrade. Literally left us with no choice. ((There is no such thing as a DS7 manual category on the website to begin with. We showed our booking which stated “Automatic” to the gentleman staff Frances at the counter, and he did acknowledge what was stated in our booking. It is not our fault that their system stated otherwise so they should have honoured our booking.))

Une catastrophe !!!! I PAYED and booked online with creditcard, first had to change pick up location and car (they called me last minute). Came from our house in Cap Ferrat, with the train. There was no number of the street also not to find in my maps (only the one at trainstation) So called again :-). Came there after walking 30 min and i thought everything arranged so super happy!!! BUT- couldnt pay with the family creditcard there at the location.. I payed online already (that was ok??)????? Had to be on my phone and name (my last name is also in the card).. Terrible. I went to another agent and thank god have a car arranged and was so kind!!!!!!! If i knew this before i didn't waist my whole afternoon to find this location in Nice and a girl who took it like a joke. Pay with my phone but not with the card there. What a joke!!!!!!!!

When we arrived at the SIXT, Laura was amazing. She was very pleasant and personable and completed our return quickly and efficiently. Laura even gave us some recommendations for our trip in nice. I was very pleased with our service and will definitely be using SIXT again.
